"Rush Hour" Shoshone, California

Population: 31 ...and that's stretching it.

 

The Chevron gas station, little saloon cafe, Motel and Post office all within a short stones throw of each other.

 

A very short stones throw.

 

Don't ever be low on fuel here...always close to 5 dollars per gallon. Heck, I've seen it almost reach 6 bucks at $5.75

 

Next nearest fuel is 30 miles away...sooo you better have at LEAST ten bucks on you or on your maxed out Visa.

 

If your wondering WHY I would even think about coming here....this was the last stop on our route for a test driving

job I had. 

 

Truly miss that job. I mean where else do you get to go to places literally in the middle of "nowhere" on a daily basis?
